Polycarbonate is up to 250–300 times more impact-resistant than glass and roughly 30 times stronger than acrylic, making it virtually unbreakable under normal conditions. Its hollow multiwall structure traps still air, creating an effective thermal barrier that keeps buildings cooler in summer and warmer in winter reducing energy costs year-round. With light transmission of up to 80–90%, it floods spaces with natural daylight while a co-extruded UV-resistant layer protects against yellowing and brittleness over time. At just 1/6 the weight of glass, it's easy to handle, install, and cold-bend on site into arched structures without any special tools. Inherently flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, it meets international fire safety standards including UL94 and DIN.
